Welcome

Andris Bergs was born in London in 1974. After training to become a qualified forester at Plumpton College near Brighton, he became interested in sculpting with a chainsaw. What started as a hobby became a successful occupation, with customers throughout Britain, including councils, schools and businesses. There are examples of his work to be found throughout Europe and some of his highly sought after mushrooms have even made their way to Australia!

Andris’s work has appeared in many newspapers and magazines and has been featured on ‘Countryfile’. He will accept commissions and undertake demonstrations and has never been ‘stumped’ as to what to carve when faced with a piece of wood!

The sculptures are made from durable soft and hardwoods that are equally suited to the home or garden and will mature with age. All his creations are made from locally sourced timber from sustainable sources, and are all sculpted with a chainsaw and hand finished.
